My second alma mater... and its all true, except most of the breasts are real, I know i stared a lot.

2. Georgia: Maybe it's partially the Hope Scholarship and the resulting college funds that end up funding fake breasts, but a weekend in Athens is jaw-dropping. Everywhere you look there's another gorgeous girl with a plunging neckline in a black or red dress. By the way, one of my friends has a real problem with fake breasts being called fake.

After my column ran about the visit to Georgia, he pulled me aside and said, "Listen, Clay, if it's inside the skin then it isn't fake. I mean, you don't run around pointing to people with new hearts or new hips or new knees and talk about how those are fake hearts or fake knees or fake hips. They're just breasts, glorious, under-the-skin breasts." I'm persuaded by this logic. That's one reason that Athens is the Cleavage Capital of America. And No. 2 on this list.

I emailed Joe about it early in the year.

Mr. Castiglione,
I am a current OU graduate student in the zoology department. I also got my undergraduate degree here and love OU football and all OU athletics and think that you have done a wonderful job for the school and for us fans. I was emailing you to ask if there would be any way that we could potentially schedule the University of Georgia in football. I know that with the way things are moving in college football it isnt always beneficial to schedule the big matchups with difficult opponents. However, I looked it up and realized that these two storied programs have never played eachother. The reason I am so interested is that I did my M.S. at UGA. Also I have noticed that Georgia has taken to scheduling schools in the Big XII lately with a home and home with Colorado this year and next year and a home and home with Oklahoma State. Hopefully this would be a possibility, thank you for your time.

P.S. I have noticed that the band has started a tradition that is virtually the same as OSU's waving wheat cheer and I didnt know if you were the right person to ask, but if there is anything you could do to get that stopped it would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Dear Rich:

Thank you for your letter about football scheduling.

We have had some significant discussion with the University of Georgia about scheduling but could not find a date which worked for both Universities. We were both interested and willing but couldn’t work it out. Perhaps we can find something down the road.

Thanks again for taking time to write.

Sincerely,

Joseph R. Castiglione

Director of Athletics

P.S. In regards to your comment about our Marching Band, please contact the Band Office. I am not aware of any new tradition they may have started.

Nor am I aware of any waving wheat thing the band does, but if they do, seriously get that stopped. That's ridiculous.

Now that I can't attend games weekly anymore I'm making a bigger deal of going to big-time roadgames (UO this past year, Miami in the future). UGA sounds like a lot of fun to me.

This was around the time of the great band threads that we were having... and I saw it before the Fiesta Bowl and it really does look like that. but I dont want the hotness of the chicks in the SEC to get threadjacked by the band so lets let that sleeping dog lie...

Edit: here's the craziness of the band thread if we want to dig that up, but lets leave the ( o )( o )s out of it...

Maybe if you'd mentioned the breasts, they could have "found a date" that worked?!

BTW Athens has ~40-60 bars/restraurants in their downtown area (i.e., in walking distance of eachother).

Certainly. It must be stopped. No doubt about it. Couldn't you see it in black and white? That will be all.

If I was the A.D. I'd cut the crap Middle Tennessee scheduling. I know programs can change a lot over the course of a few years, but right now, I'd personally schedule Boise State in OOC. They really were a great challenge and it would be nice to see what a WAC team did in a crowd of 84,000 or more screaming Sooners. Not being sarcastic or puffing my chest, I'm just saying I'm sick of hearing that Boise and Rutgers and all of those smaller schools would survive the stadiums of the BIG 12. I find it hard to believe, but I've been proven wrong before, also...

The guy was dead-on about Arkansas. Some people up there act as if its Beverly Hills when it's not.
I went to school there in the early '90s, and it was a lot simpler then than it is now ever since the area decided to get more corporate. For the most part, the girls I dealt with back in the day were nice, except for one chick from Minnesota that gave me the cold shoulder when I thought I was in on a good thing. Needless to say, I've held a grudge against the state of Minnesota since.

Middle Tennessee isn't that bad, i'd say OUr OOC schedule was fine, i mean we had 2 Pac-10 teams

where we had MTSU the rest of the Big 12 had 1AA teams

I agree with yermom on this one. Usually I bitch about the schedule, but we were the only Big 12 team without a I-AA opponent. We should never play them. I-AA's are for the Oklahoma States and Tulsas of the college football world.

I agree that the Sun Belt Conference is full of monkeyfart schools who were recently I-AA schools, but technically they're now I-A schools...no matter how much they suck.

That reminds me...Troy State needs to beg, borrow, or steal its way out of the Sun Belt. They're better than that, say I. They hammered Rice, supposed from a better conference, in the Sun Belt Top Monkeyfart Bowl. It's Rice and Baylor that need to be in the Sun Belt Conference and Troy that needs to be Conference USA.

Rock me.
