Other things which no compromise is acceptable.

The "store brand" (or "Hydrox") in lieu of authentic Oreos

what are others?

99% of the store-brand products are every bit as good as the name brands. And probably made on the same production line.

Yesterday, I bought 200-count Wal-Hell ibuprofen for $4.85. 100-count Advil was nearly 9 bucks.

Pffft.

Unless by ">", you mean "more expensive".

The SanDisk players rock at a fraction of the price.

BigRedJed
1/11/2007, 12:36 PM
See, "fraction of the price" shouldn't be a consideration here. We're talking about superior products, screw the pricepoint. Of ALL things, you should never compromise on the rock music.

Jeebus, Craw, we need to get you off of those SanDisk players, and fast. I went out and checked them out based on your post. As far as I can tell, the biggest one you can get is 8GB! Heck, that's not even half the space that yermom has on his wee, obsolete iPod. All of those 8 GB units seem to run around $249, or $31 per GB. My 80GB iPod was $349, or $4.36 per GB. I fail to see how the SanDisk can even be called cheaper than the iPod. Hell, you can get a 30 GB iPod for $249. Don't even get me started on iTunes vs. Rhaphsody, which is something I have actually sampled.

Don't compromise on the rock, man. If we need an intervention, we're there for you.

I would argue that most bagged cereals are just as good sa the boxed, and some are better. I agree that the HN Cheerio's aren't as good as the original, but most others are.

Heh. You know that Del Frisco, Sullivan's, and Lone Star are all the same company, right? ;) Of course, they use different grades of beef and recipes.

Never been to a Ruth's Chris. I don't find Sullivan's to be bland, but it is a bit more subtle than I was used to at first. They actually don't do much to the steaks-they just tenderize and throw some salt, pepper, and garlic on them. The cuts are phenominal, though. Can't get prime anywhere else in town.

Kobe beef is freaking nuts. Had Kobe meatloaf the other day and it was ridiculous.

if it's a good cut, you shouldn't need to do much to it
