You know my secretary just some medication for restless leg syndrome. One of the side effects, and I am not making this up, is the feeling of needing to go gamble.

WTF? this is the second time I have heard this "condition" mentioned in a span of 24 hours...and I had never heard of it before. The first was when my wife remarked that perhaps I have it because when I am really tired, my legs start to feel sore.

naturally, I blew that suggestion off. its just the way things are for me.

Yeah apparently its the real deal or some such nonsense. I'm just old and spent the day in the OR yesterday and then came home and climbed up the attic like a bajillion times putting all of my crap up there. Oh and I hauled out the christmas tree this morning.


On a more interesting note I get to see an open sholder procedure last week for the first time and it was schweet!

Mankind has devolved to now having new diseases (that were at least unreported in the past), such as ADD and Restless Leg. There are others, and we must take the new miracle drugs to make us normal again.

I suffer from Itchy Liver Syndrome. That's what I tell the boss when he sees my bottle of Jack.

It's the only known treatment of my serious condition.

For the drugmakers it's much easier to cure a disease we don't need a cure for than to cure a disease we do need a cure for. I heard an industry spokesman say a couple of weeks ago, "in pharmaceuticals, all the low-hanging fruit is gone."

"Restless leg" is one of the recent ones. I would have thought that viagra or cialis or something would get a cross-clearance for that. ;-)
