I've looked for past threads regarding this but couldnt come up with any.

What can be done to treat sleep apnia? I seriously think I have it.

If you have it (usually diagnosed with a sleep study), usually a CPAP machine is recommended. I know people who have had their soft palate removed and there's been at least one study on something like collagen pillars inserted into the soft palate to keep it from blocking the airway (there's probably more treatments out there). I don't think surgical removal of the soft palate has been proven beneficial, and I don't know if anyone is trying the collagen procedure. CPAP is usually what's prescribed. You should get a sleep study done so that you at least know what you're dealing with. Avoid alcohol and sleeping pills before bedtime. Lose weight. These help some.

Do they still do deviated septum surgeries for that?

My friend's husband has a CPAP machine and it has made a world of difference.

My mom has a CPAP and it's helped her a lot also.

I'm having trouble imagining how one could fit collagen pillows in ones mouth.

Never mind. I remember now.

A CPAP machine could save your life if you truely have Sleep Apnia. Seriously if you think you do get a Sleep Study done!
