When I signed up for Cox broadband they only had one tiers of service, which cost $41/month. Now they've got three tiers, so I called today to change to the mid-level tier, which is only $26/month. The CSR told me that I was already at the mid-level tier. So why am I getting charged $15/month more than the price on the web site, I ask. That's an introductory rate, he tells me. But then he said he'll knock my rate down to $34/month. WTF? You can haggle for broadband? :confused:
I guess I should call tomorrow to see if they'll lower my telephone and cable rates. :cool:
