Another overrated Heisman winner from Ohio State.

4 completions, 14 attempts, 35 yards.

10 rushes, -29 yards.

A net gain of 6 yards.

That's sad.

Aww come on...that's different.

Those people are disabled in some way, shape or form. But their lives are still blessed one way or another.

Ohio State is in a state of permanent mental retardation.

Sort of reminds me of Geno Torretta's performance in the 1993 Sugar Bowl versus Alabammy. Or Vinny T's five picks vs. Penn State in the '87 Fiesta.

i feel bad for the kid. he did lose his mom only 2 weeks ago and he has only been back for practice for a week. i wouldn't play well under those conditions either. took me more than 2 weeks to get over my dad. i can't imagine doing what he did. i have nothing but respect for troy smith.

I think you're thinking about the Florida defensive back; he was the one who lost his mom right before Christmas.

Yeah, Troy Smith was the guy who took money from a booster and had to sit out 1 whole game. :D

What were White's statistics in the 2004 game? Oklahoma's overall?

Actually, there really is no comparison. Torretta and Testaverde did move the ball at points. Testaverde almost pulled out the game.

But 6 yards? That has got to be the worst performance by a Heisman winner in a bowl game ever.

i'm thinking the 82 TOTAL YARDS by tOSU will be the lowest in an nc game for the next 100 years.

White was 24-36 for 244 yards and 3 ints.

OU had 372 total yards.
USC had 525 total yards.

OU had 5 turnovers, USC had none.:(

Well, at least we had an offense unlike Ohio State. However, you CANNOT turn over the ball. It doomed us in 2004, and it doomed us this year too. It also goes to show that out teams that have lost in the BCS have not been that bad, we just seem to have trouble with holding on to the ball. Also, that should take "fire stoops" out of the picture. He doesn't turn over the ball.

I'd like to thank Jim Tressel. Now maybe all those people who said Big game Bob is dead will realize that maybe just maybe we have a good coach.
What was he thinking on that 4th down play? I think his tie was too tight.

Heisman voters are such moronic sheep. Whatever player looks to be moderately competent on the team that's going to be #1 or #2 in the land gets the vote, and talent is often a secondary consideration.

Ohio State didn't play any elite teams this year -- and that made Smith look far better than he really was.
