I'm at work, what happened?

soonersweetie
1/6/2007, 05:31 PM
Ty Law intercepted Manning and returned it for 42 yrds. However, they were unable to punch it in the endzone and tried a field goal and then they missed it. It is still 6-0 Indy right now. 5 min left in the 2nd qtr.

that was sick

what are they doing to LJ?

soonersweetie
1/6/2007, 05:38 PM
so far, Indy's D is shutting down KC's offense

yermom
1/6/2007, 05:38 PM
i guess if they can keep forcing FGs they can get back in this game whenever they figure out something on offense

Everything has completly flopped. What was the worst defense ever, is doing an unbelieveable job, and now Manning has thrown 2?/?3 interceptions.

whoever wins today loses next weekLOL, no kidding.

And, even if they figure out a way to win, then they have to play SD, so.........

Next year my friends, keep telling that to yourself, wether it is for the Sooners, Colts, Cowboys, Cheifs, Braves, Reds, Cavs.........;):D

Midway through 3rd quater K.C. does not have a first down...

What should be scary for KC fans, is that it seems at times that it's almost a "when" will Indy start putting up TD's and not "if".

I don't really care who wins, but I was hoping for a better game.

I wasn't really paying attention early on. Did the Colts shut down LJ or were the Chiefs passing too much?

I'd say that 5 of the first 7 Chiefs offensive plays were handoffs to LJ. Colts put 8 in the box and filled the gaps.

fitting that Dante Hall got flattened by a guy with Hagler as his last name.

Indy definitely earned this win.

I wonder how long it'll take LJ to whine in the locker room.

That being said, I wouldn't like their chances against San Diego.

Baltimore.

Indy beated them the last 3 times they played them.

Baltimore had an even stronged D then, and we didn't have a good O line.

Hey..... my speker is about to turn green:D
You might want to get that checked out by a doctor :D

For as poor as the KC offense played, their defense played a good game holding Indy to that many field goals while being on the field for about 80% of the game. KC needs a total overhaul of the offensive line and receiving corps. They are just pathetic.

Did anyone see if Jimmy Wilkerson came back into the game? I hope he is alright, knees aren't suppose to bend that way

Herman Edwards inherited one of the most productive offenses in the league. I guess he figured that wasn't the way to win games.

With the D getting better, I didnt figure that the offense would go in a shell like it did this year. Another frustrating year for me as a CHiefs fan, atleast my Cardinals finally did something in the playoffs

I can see it now:

"With their first pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select (insert name here) Offensive Coordinator....."

The offensive coordinator took millions to go to Washington to be the OC for the Redskins.

Colts fans who went to the game said that some of the Chiefs fans said "home of the Chiefs" at the end of the National Anthem. Obviously disrecpectful, and to add to that there were troops on leave holding the flag. Disgusting.

Heard it from here: http://www2.indystar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180281

Of course, I just found out thats the Cheifs traditon so..........

what I'm saying is it doesn't matter if they do it at arrowhead, but with 500 troops on the field thats wrong. Otherwise, do with-what-you-will, I guess.

Who cares.......................

I was disappointed with the "Boomer sooner" that happened during the moment of silence for Gerald Ford at the Fiesta Bowl. A few fans can embarrass a whole team.
