On Jan 5,2007 Mike Morgan has posted this 11 day forecast that on Jan 14-16 Oklahoma will be experiencing a major winter storm.

Just want to see how OFF the forecast will be. Posting the pic that should update itself. Im predicting 43, partly sunny on Jan 15th. :pop:

And completely ridiculous. You'd do just as well with an almanac to guess the weather 11 days from now.

Stocking up on the Bacardi?

MamaMia

Stocking up on the Bacardi?Actually, when I was cleaning out my liquor cabinet for the holidays, I discovered I was a rum lover. I don't drink that often so I never knew that I had quite a selection. I seriously have as much rum as I do all the other liquors combined. For Christmas I got a beautiful bottle of Captain Morgans Private Stock. I plan to save that to share at my first pool party.

Gary England still hasn't emailed me back. I guess hes too busy.

It looks like some freezing drizzle and freezing rain possible on Friday up your way, with a chance of snow on Saturday..Turning much colder for many days.

Gary England grew up in a town next door to us. I went there yesterday to pick up some farm fresh eggs from my friend who does everything organically. Anyway, I saw a sign announcing that Gary England will be there tomorrow for a book signing, even though we are suppose to have freezing drizzle. I don't know if I have ever seen freezing drizzle. Is that a new term for slush?

Freezing drizzle is real bad. Coats everything with a thin slick glaze.

After reading the NWS info, this could be bad for Oklahoma, most like central and south. I rarely get caught up in gloom and doom, I even accused my MIL of watching Mike Morgan when she started going off on the winter weather. But this storm would concern me. They are even talking of freezing rain and sleet here in Houston on Monday/Tuesday...

You know, weather.com has a totally different prediction. I mean, they're saying high of 34 on Monday, as opposed to the 18 predicted by Channel 4 right now. Basically local stations are saying "Killer winter storm, END Of TEH W0RLDZoRZ!" and national stuff is saying "yeah, there's a cold front, you'll get a bit of freezing rain".

That's what everyone up this way is acting like too . . . it was perfectly fine on the way to work this morning, but that could change I guess.
