... and she's been regretting it ever since. Any girl who asks me one month into dating her "I've been asked to judge the Sonic cheerleader competition this weekend, do you want to go?" is a keeper.

Any girl that can say "Sonic Cheerleader" and "do you want" in the same sentence is a keeper.

Seriously, though. Congrats. :D

Thanks all. I should clarify to say this is the day I asked her to marry her. We locked up the deal six months later. Three months of dating, six months of getting ready for the marriage - doesn't take me long to make a good decision. And yes, I paid her off. Her dad said when I asked him "Are you SURE you want her?". :D

Good for the both of you. :)
The traditional 18th wedding anniversary gift is a cats eye. Just to clarify, thats a cats eye, as in a gem, not a feline body part. The contemporary gift is porcelain.

You should give her something really nice. And start saving. That 25th is only seven years off and they expect something really niiiiiiiice on that one (or so I have been subtly informed by my esposita...married May 16, 1982:eek: )
