If I gotta wait it out, I wait. If anyone's got a problem with me hovering around in front of a closed stall, my face redder'n a beet due to the prairie doggin', I'll just say with conviction "Hey, man, I gotta take a dump."

That will usually get you respect. I think it comes with age.
