For a very good reason. He's withdrawing from school to donate part of his liver to his Uncle. Hopefully the kid and his Uncle can both recover quickly, and he will be able to kick again.

wow I did not know you could even donate a part of your liver. Thats a really cool story and I hope he gets better and gets back on the field by next season
