I would feel bad for Patrick because he would arguably be the best backup running back in college football. The guy was like 4th in the NCAA or something in rushing yards per game in the games he started. It would be harder to be humble knowing that you have already proven yourself rather than never even given the chance. I don't think AD will come back (along with just about everyone else), but if he did, and Patrick played sparingly, we could possibly have two backs drafted in the 2008 draft.

If A.D. stayed, we could move Patrick to play quarterback in the Wildcat formation, a la Darren McFadden at Arkansas. That would also temporarily solve our QB dilemma.

we could put Madu, Murray, Brown and Patrick on the outside in the Ninja along with Kelly. We'd be unstoppable!
