Observations from my first bowl trip

1) The charter was worth it, but our hotel was in the middle of nowhere in N. Phoenix. I'll do more research next time. Thankfully, I had a friend who had driven to Phoenix, so she and her family kidnapped me on Sunday.

2) Boise St. people didn't know how to talk smack very well. In Tempe on Sunday night, we were doing the Boomer Sooner chant back & forth and a Boise St. chick called us T-sippers. Um ok. . .is that supposed to **** me off?

3) I thought our pig horses were bad, but good grief. . .did anyone see that bronco with the flopping lip?

4) BSU's band may have a drill team and drum majors dressed like hookers, but I still wanted to fire you know who after the Battle of the Bands in Tempe.

5) OKC's Opening Night is way better than the one in Tempe. Tempe's was like a way scaled back version of OU-Texas at the fair. There was almost as much orange too.

6) The U of P Stadium is funny looking on the outside, but is really cool inside. I took a picture of Pat Tillman's name on the upper deck.

7) The game atmosphere was unbelievable. Though I didn't like the outcome it was still a blast.

Oh I forgot to say that I am almost positive I saw Ron Jeremy at the OKC airport on Saturday morning. I also saw Traber, Al, Mark Rogers and Jack Mildren.
