I got Mrs SB a Dance Dance Revolution Playstation game for Christmas. I hate to admit it, but it's freaking fun. It has a workout mode that is a pretty good cardio workout. You get into it, and even though you're sweating like a whore in Church, you can't stop. This is one of my guilty pleasures, definitely.

I may even upgrade to a metal game pad. All professional and stuff. :D

A leotard, with a belt.

No.

We play this upstairs on the projector. It rules. Anyone who has seen me can imagine the sight of my mounds of blubber rocking to the beat. Oh, the humanity!

I've never played it at Dave and Buster's or anything. Only in the privacy of my own house. :p

I am the one in the red:

You're ****tin' me, right?

They've got this new invention out for cardio - it's called jogging. :p

I guess I'm an old fart, but if it doesn't say Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Pong, Asteroids, Centipede, or have buzzers n' bells, I haven't played it.

Hey, don't give me any crap, Mr Broadway show watcher! :D

I'm bringing it to the next tailgate and making Dean do the boogaloo and shingaling.

And I'm taking you to the Rupell Jones Theater and we're watching "Flowers for Algernon."

Live theater is da diggity bomb man!

Then the next day, I'll take you to Linkin Park/POD at Lloyd Noble. :D

Yeah, well then we're going up to the Bricktown Event Center and watching Deep Purple (I heard it's the original lineup with Ian Gillam, Ritchie Blackmore, etc.) and Thin Lizzie.

BTW, Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac, and Rory Gallagher was the first concert I ever attended. Tucson Community Center, 1972-or 73. Good memories.....

No problem there at all!

Believe it or not, there are really people who are big time into DDR. There's even a website with a message board about it (http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/).

and THEN??

You know Dean has no idea what we are talking about, now.

I just can't shake the mental image of Boarder as Bobby Hill, workin' it on the DDR tip in Tokyo...

That's the idea. :D

My main goal on the board at this point is to split time between having Dean agree with me and just confounding the sweet blue bejeezus out of him with my wacky antics and obscure tastes.

Aaaaaaaaaaand then?

heh. a friend of mine bought a game that goes along similar lines for the PS2 called guitar hero. essentially, it involves playing a fake guitar in time with notes scrolling across the screen. even though its greatly simplified, and extremely geeky, this game is a whole lot of fun...

That game is so amazingly awesome. I played it for a few hours at a friend's place and got completely addicted. All the songs sound really good on there; it's not like some crappy karaoke recording.

You could always try the one downstairs in the UI Union. I don't know if that would make you gay though. (NTTAWWT)
