I bet Saban says no. Guys who take this long to make a decision usually end up taking a pass. Frankly, its prolly for the best. 40 million bucks PLUS the buy-out of Saban's Dolphins contract is a lot of cabbage and he can't be worth all that.

I predict the Elephants will move on to Petrino at Loo-uh-vul. Petrino might bite IF he doesn't think about it too long. If he does think about it, he'll realize if he continues to win at Louisville, within a couple seasons max, there will be an opening at some more supportive place...like Penn State, or FSU.

I still think Bammer is a lunatic asylum for not talking to Kragthorpe. They could get him for a a tenth of what they're offering Saban and I'm certain Steve could turn that joint around.

i think Saban takes the job ....he's been saying all along he wasnt leaving Miami.....now he says he needs some time to rethink the Bama offer

ESPN is reporting that Saban told the Dolphins via speakerphone that he is headed back to the college ranks.

I dont get why the Miami fans are so mad. He was a flop in the NFL and everyone of their fans should be happy he's gone.
