My heart is with the bugs, but reason has it Auburn needs to win. Already the bugs have outrecruited OU for a down lineman right here in AZ, and they beat us out for the ASU transfer QB Sam Keller.
Moral: we're better off if schools in our conference and others near us(ie Ark Pigs, Tulsa U etc.)screw up. Wish it wasn't that way, but each program is an island, not a conference, when it comes to recruiting.
The exception would be a program like Boise State, where the entire conference gets no respect, and a school doesn't get to play a good enough schedule to get high rankings.
