we heard three different very loud booms over the hillside. perhaps several miles away. I figured it was either dynamite or a howitzer.

We didn't set off anything this year....

After last year I figured the Cops might be waiting around the corner for us.

Plus any lit flame would set our dog's farts off and we might have to call F.E.M.A. in to save everyone in the area.
