Married. Wifey had 1 too many mixed drinks (2). 2 little kids. At least we're reasonably safe from drunk drivers.

Since I don't drink, I don't need to worry about missing out on the drinks. Wife isn't feeling well, so here I am.. Happy New Year everyone..

It's finally 2007 out here, so happy new year to everyone. My son and I are the only ones left up, so I'm off to bed. See all of you at the game tomorrow!

Hey, wife and I are both in our 40's. A bit ago (before she hit the sack), she commented how she's glad we don't "have" to do the party thing anymore. ;)

So now I'm sitting here with Pale Rider playing on AMC and me on Soonerfans.com... Clint Eastwood is cool. :)

Same here...

Our kids would miss us if we didn't come back...lol.

Plus...I've seen "Four Rooms". The part where Antonio Banderas takes his Wife out on the town and comes back to find his kids drunk and the bellhop with a hypodermic in his legg and a dead hooker under the bed...well...it would be to much for me to take....

I have a 4 year old and a wife who works in a hospital. Going out was out of the question.

I too am watching Pale Rider but on HDNet though. HDNet is the shiznit.

We stayed home too. My son wanted my nephew to stay over so they could play xbox, but then dad took it in the living room and played it all evening... heh.

He was playing some WWII game... the graphics and sound are amazing. I remember playing Space Invaders on Atari. :) Video games have come a LONG way.

I no longer party on New Years Eve. I buried a loved one on the 31st five years ago, and I haven't quite gotten to the point of moving forward on this particular day just yet. I need more time.
