Right now, 49ers are beating the Broncos, and if that stands, the Chiefs head into the playoffs. A Bronco comeback puts them into the playoffs.
We do have some drama in the afternoon games after all.

my Bronco fan friends are in full melt-down......

i just hope the "overlook the inferior opponent" scenario doesn't play out tomorrow.

Colts just held off the Fins, they'll be the 3 seed next week and the Pats the 4.

The Eagles hung on to beat the Falcons, which made the Cowboys' game today moot. But still, losing to the Lions at home.......sheesh.:(

True Chiefs fans are not worried. We know it won't make any difference if the Chiefs make the playoffs or not, because they will only lose in the first round anyway.

P.S. That's why smart Chiefs fans are OU fans first and foremost.

oh man, there will be no joy in Mudville/Denver for a long off-season.....apart from the "it didn't matter if we made the playoffs or not" weak rationalization.

I can't speak for anyone else but I've been a Sooner's fan since 1971 and a Chief's fan since 1982/1983 (mainly because someone in Topeka had too). However, I care a hell of a lot less about what happens in the NFL than I do the Big 12. <SMILES>
