So with New Years approaching, Mrs. Ike and I have agreed that this time it would be much more appropriate for us to burn they year 2006 in effigy than to ring in 2007. With that said though, we are having difficulty finding the best effigy of 2006 for our little bout of pyromania. So we respectfully ask you, the wise south oval, what should we burn?

I'll throw out the boring answer of a 2006 calendar. But whatever you burn, torch something for me, too. Not a lot happened this past year that I'd like to see again.

I'm not sure what you can burn for yourself, but if you could take out Blinn College and my old band directors, it would greatly be appreciated.

Im heading for "olevet's ski resort and u-fix-it car garage" for the New Years.
I hear he has some outstanding smoke, then we all provide the entertainment.
Sad to expect that we wont remember it though.

It has been said that burning mistletoe is an old New Year's tradition in Wales meant to bring luck. If you burn it all you can't get caught under it with an undesirable partner! :)
