I have been through Lillington a time or two. It is about halfway between Fayetteville and Raliegh NC. Suffice to say, Mayberry it ain't...although there are many Gomer and Goober-esque persons.

I used to live 30 miles south of Fayettenam. True, there are some mean wimmins in those parts.
