Well whens the last time you saw the flexbone triple option offense?

There is like 2 major colleges that run it nowadays, and one won't much longer (airforce)

Its the best offense ever. I am not a fan of the flex formation, but I love the trip option.

No one runs the triple option anymore. The sprint option isn't even close.

Its the best offense ever invented.

I love watching the blocking when it is done right, and Navy has done it right all day today.

For those of you youngsters out there who never got to watch, for example, the Jamelle Holieway days of the option at Oklahoma, turn on the Navy/BC game, and watch the Navy offense.

Now imagine the Navy backs running twice as fast.

Heh. No kidding.

I have a stat question. Who gets credit for yards if the ball is pitched downfield from the line of scrimmage? Does the qb get credit for the yards prior to the pitch?

Here's the thing about option football. If you don't have the talent to fumble eight times, losing 5 of them, and still beat the likes of BC, maybe you shouldn't be running the option.
