Everyone was talking smack after an 0-2 start to the bowl season for the Pac 10. Granted Mizzou should have won, but OSU could have easily lost. Now the Pac-10 is 2-3 and the Bix XII is 1-3, right? I think we'll end up 3-5.

Go Wolverines.

So...basically..who do you think will lose the others?

Nebraska and who?

I dont see anyone from the Big 12 South losing their bowl games.

I say we end up 5-3

Yep, smack talking by fans caused it.

1 and 3 but rapidly heading towards 1 and 4 thanks to Texas Tech. Losing bowl games is bad enough but getting blown out of them is embarassing.

But who knew? I went out after it hit 21-0, came back and holy crap, history was being made.

I don't think I said, or even implied, that the smack-talking caused the Big XII to lose.

I just thought people might have to eat a little crow after talking about how bad the Pac 10 is. Thankfully (for the conference), TTU and UT came back to win their games.

And, BTW, when I posted I figured that the conference would finish the last four games 2-2 because one of the favored teams would lose. I wouldn't have picked against them individually, but I figure(d) that the following were the chances of victory:

TTU: 60%
Texas: 70%
OU%: 70%
Nebbish: 30%

I didn't do the math, but I was guessing that the most likely outcome was 2-2.

Dog. Balls.

I told the Wife Unit to pick Iowa in her office pool. Dang. That was the pick that would have salted it away for us. 11-point dogs...
