Everything's packed.
I think. I hope.
Driving myself nuts here wondering if I forgot stuff.

I can't sleep the night before I have to fly or get up early for any kind of trip.

Yeah, I'm not sure why I didn't take a flight at a decent hour. I hate red-eye flights.
I mean, it takes 3.5 hours to get to Seattle, then it's another couple hours to Phoenix. I think I'm getting in at like 10 in the morning or something.

OKC-Phoenix is a two hour direct flight...pretty nice...

I love living up here, but one of the major drawbacks is that it takes forever to fly anywhere.

This is how I deal with that kind of travel anxiety. I remind myself that if I forget to pack an item, wherever it is I'm going probably has stores. ;) On a related note, I think Czar and I have about eight boxes of Q-tips as souvenirs from various trips we've taken. For some reason, we always forget Q-tips.

Q-Tips! Good call!
(runs upstairs to the bathroom)
Got 'em!
Meh. I'll just let my ears get waxy.

What is is about traveling that makes one's ears just absolutely filthy?

Man, I do so much traveling I can usually pack in under half an hour.

don't forget to unplug your curling-iron

Oh yeah - it would suck to burn your house down because you were curling your pubes at the last minute.
It must be late - did my internal censor not stop that one?

Here's a thought...from a seasoned road warrior.
First, get some paper, and a writing instrument. Then, take some quiet time in the days before the trip to write down everything you want to bring on the trip.
We call this a "list."
Then, when packing, check things off they get packed.
You're welcome.;)

I refuse to bow down to your totalitarian "lists".

I prefer to remain listless.

I always keep a separate set of my 4 medications, cosmetics and toiletry items, a bathing suit and cover up, a pair of flippies, some pajamas, slippers and a robe packed at all times in case I have to leave in a hurry. That way I only have to pack the daytime clothing. :)
