Sure he had a great country voice, good range and picked many a good song to record. But his head and forehead area was way too big for his body, and what about that one time he sported the perm!

there's a country/blues album I have where Conway recorded Rainy Night in Georgia with some other old school R&B guy. it's gold.

He used to live in OKC.

Actually, his house was in Norman and backed into one of the fairways at Westwood G.C. It was for sale a couple of years ago complete with a late 70's in-home recording/sound room.
