I think we all need to kiss up to Jaux.

Jaux is a thoroughly clever, dashing man. Feisty, but possessing a certain rough-hewn charm. Though I'm never quite certain if his name is actually pronounced "Joe," "Jox" or "Jay-Ox," in my head I always pronounce it "Mr. Big Sweetie Man."

What's a girl gotta do to get a plaque around here? Wait. Please don't answer that.

And jaux has made some beautiful pieces for the tailgate, etc. He is also a very dear friend and someone who holds a very special place in my wife and my heart. Him doing something like this doesn't surprise me in the least. If you look in the dictionary under "giver" you'll see jaux. Class act, all the way.

I'm glad I found a post by you. This past weekend I was batching it while the wife was in Iowa, and I was looking around for some grub, and I noticed the mason jar with the pumpkin bread in it that you sent last year. I remember you telling me a while back it was time to eat it. Anyhow, I broke the seal and ate the whole dang thing! It was gooooood. Very moist, and although it did crumble a bit, it was very tasty. Thanks for the treat.
