She had to show me her new favorite Christmas CD. It was Jethro Tull's Christmas.

What's wrong with that?

I did say there was anything wrong, her overall record collection strongly suggests recreational drug use though. Not that it bothers me in the least.

The 70s were hard on Nebish fans. She had to cope somehow.

If you lived during the 70's and can still remember them, you probably didn't enjoy them enough while they were here. :texan:

60s rocked. 70s I had money and time and damn near killed myself. Thing about Jethro Tull concerts was they were great but always had awesome opening acts. First time I saw them they had a new band from England called Yes as an opener. Second time (I think it was the second time) they had a brand new band called the Eagles open for them. That is about all I remember.

Is your mom hawt?

Oh wait, she is a nebbish fan - never mind.

That's two SF poster's who have asked if my Mom is hot. I'll put it this way, my mom was a starting Power Forward for her College Basketball team. Started on the volleyball team too, as well as the softball team. If that's your thing, she probably is. Hot enough for my dad anyway.

That and I was born in the 80's. And unless you look exactly like my Dad, it isn't very likely either.

FWIW, not many rock acts in the 70's used a flute.

I tell you one thing that really drives me nuts, is people who think that Jethro Tull is just a person in a band.

Who's Jethro Tull?

One of the all-time great lines from the 70's:

I've always had a deep respect
And I mean that most sincerely
The band is just fantastic
That is really what I think
Oh, by the way, which one's Pink?
