So I'm out in Phoenix visiting family for Christmas. The real kick in the nuts is that I can't stay long enough to go to the Fiesta Bowl as I have to go on a business trip. Anyways Christmas in the desert sucks. Apologies to anyone who lives here, or in Vegas or even someplace like LA or Hawaii. Christmas is about cold. Christmas doesn't go well with palm trees, red rocks and sunshine.

JM, I'm sorry to hear you are catching the flu and can't travel for at least a week. Until January 2nd, at the earliest.
What a sad state of affairs, to be sick over the Holidays. And away from home.
Bet you could find a doc to write you a note for work......... :D

Hey, it's not hot here right now. In fact, most of the day it IS a bit cold-just right! Now May-Oct is quite another matter...

I grew up in southern AZ, and it actually snowed one christmas. There we were, dancing around in our t-shirts and shorts marveling at the miracle of snow in Ajo! Didn't last long but it was really cool.
