I cant imagine Ill watch this entire game, but something in the intro caught my attention.
They stated: "Rice has not won a bowl game since 1954" :eek:
Then they had a clip of the coach saying....
"Men, we havent won a bowl game in 45 years, now let's get out there and blah, blah, blah"

Is this new math? or is the coach not required to be able to add and subtract?

You would think a school like Rice would want a coach that could count. If it were North Texas I could understand that.

Ten years ago, parts of the state began a new math concept. They would tell you what to find, just not how to do it. As in find the height of the flag pole outside the school - no values given. Credit was given for wrong answers, they were just pleased you tried.
Perhaps the Rice coach used to teach middle school math?
