Anyone Else Not Going To Be Home For Christmas?

It's not as bad as it seems though, at least for me. Mrs. '68 & the kids are on their way down. I rented a motel room for them in Coalgate & I'll be able to spend some time with them there & here on location. It sucks being gone but I'm determined to make the most of it. We'll be baking cookies as usual, but I'm not sure if the little stove here in the RV will be able to handle making fudge.

The kids left a note to Santa with the address & room number of the motel.

So, Merry Christmas everyone & a special one for those not able to make it home.

i won't be in Oklahoma for Christmas or my birthday for the first time in my life. today's AM flight cancelled out of DIA.

looks like maybe a flight on Tuesday.

Yup been there! I remember Homestead AFB. My first Christmas there it was the weirdest thing to see a Santa and sleigh under a palm tree. I was in shorts walking through the neighborhood!
