Considering adding a RB or QB for the playoffs?

I've been thinking about a RB and a QB. We worked out some runners today. I think nothing will happen with outside people this weekend. On Tuesday we might do something, it depends on the game. We're down to a minimum in those sports.

Who'd you work out? Damien Anderson from Northwestern and Quentin Griffin from Oklahoma. Don't go call their agents were not signing them right now. I also may have a sleeper for you.

How did Griffin look? We worked him out. Parcells grins.


I hope Dallas signs Q. I just love the kid.

if he was signed by Dallas, i would probably make more effort to drive to their home games. i love to watch him play. he inspires me.

Anderson and Q are similar backs, if I recall. I seeme to remember Anderson catching a lot of passes out of the backfield - screens, swings and in the flats. I vote Q.

Of all of the Sooners in recent years, I never expected little Q to go as far as he has, to hang in there when guys tower over you, to fight through injury after injury, take insult after insult. Mind you, the league is damn difficult just getting into a practice session, if he gets TV recognition still, damn man. Congrats. Hats off to you. You may not set any NFL records, but no one can talk sh*t about you not working hard enough.

I'd like to see Q get signed by somebody but not Dallas. I'm a lifelong Cowboy fan but they suck right now. If Q went there he'd bump the total of players actually trying to 4. Parcells is toast. T.O. was a bad idea before it started. The D has a bunch of 'potential' but looking like that's about as good as those guys will ever get. No pass rush whatsoever. Greg Ellis is good but they should be able to play without him. Julius Jones is not a feature back and certainly not with that O line. How many times do we have to see Jones take a hand off and run into the back of his linemen? Seems like that's their go-to play. Seems like the last 5 years they've been so close but in reality they are just an average team.
