I used to think the same way and never wanted a child, but now..I think someday I want one. It's more of seeing something that is a part of you grow up, and knowing that you had a large impact on another human being's life. My dad always tells us that the coolest thing he's ever been through is watching his kids grow into adults even though we were little sh*ts when we were babies.

Have a child, I promise you your opinion of babies will change. Having a baby is very trying at times, but it is one of the best things you can ever ask for.

seeing your baby smile and laugh at you will change your life. yes, they are kind of a 24 hour commitment, but my 10 week old is the second best thing in my life.

i'm 35 and have never really wanted any. i'm still a child myself. my GF (who i will probably be with for a very long time) doesn't want any either.

i don't think it's fair to the child if the parents never wanted him/her. you should need a license to have children, imo.

I used to say the same thing at about 25. Now I have one (at 33) and she is awesome! Think of the love for your parents/wife/girlfriend and times that by 100.

I still hate other peoples kids though and I am sure they hate mine.

But I respect people who say they don't want them....it's not for everybody.
