I've come to Believe Oregon WILL DO anything for attention.....From bad uniforms to Gordo....They are Like a spoiled Child look at me - look at me....Lets put The "O" on the back of the helment.....with weird looking numbers....and "try" to make our ugly school colors look cool..... :)

I will say this It's Nice to see a Minor Bowl have a Good Size Crowd for once...I give credit to BYU.....The weather in Las Vegas my very well be what we see in Glendale....The nights have been colder than usual out here in the west....

Oregon moves up into the top tier along with USC, Miami, Texas & ND. That's the top tier of teams I hate.
They play play dirty like miami, have an attitude like USC, have ugly helmets like ND & suk like TX.
Did you see #15 on the onside kick trying to influence the call? An then #44 as he walked off the field took his helmet off and complained about the call.
Oh well, lifes a bi***, then you are one. The Ducks are BYU's B**** tonight.

Those uniforms are not only disgusting, they are an embarassment!

Being that it is oregon of the tree hugger/unshaven armpitted women mind set. the paint is made with all natural ingredients. A mixture of Saflower & corn, processed naturally to give the soft golden glow. The flames have been added to fit the end of the season result as in "going down in flames". The shape of the helmet is made for airodynamic result to imply speed of flight.
The official color name is "Mallard Puke".

I think they need to combine the Diamond Steel Plating and the helmet Flames.

They should also change the name of the team. The Oregon - American Choppers or The Monster Garage - Ducks.

that was alliotti-the d coordinator that said they'd fare well. read page 1, you'll see that bellotti's opinion hadn't changed after the game.

When they showed a wide shot, it reminded me of our practices when half the team puts on those yellow shower caps to indicate that they are on the kicking team.

Unfortunately all these guys no longer say what they really think, it's all scripted and inserted as promotional plugs for the game. Holtz would have been cued to say that during a lull to create filler and to try and build drama/controversey so more people will talk about the game and be interested in watching. Say goodbye to objective journalism and hello to the WWF.

FOX is broadcasting the Fiesta Bowl. If ESPN was trying to draw in more viewers, they'd have Holtz building up whatever college basketball game or bowling tournament they'll be showing at that time.

I beg your pardon? As an honors grad in journalism from the University of Oklahoma, I can tell you it was certainly taught as the ideal and the practice of the journalism school from 1974-78. Ralph Sewell saw to that, rest his soul.
