These games suck. They won't let me drive full speed at a parking space then power-slide through a 90 degree turn and stop dead center in the parking space. :D

ok once the car is in the spot, is there a key you hit to end the game? i got the car in the spot and the clock kept running

I think the car has to coast to a stop and not stop it with the brake. I could be wrong, though.

Er, just to be sure, did you park nose-in or nose-out? Because in the first one you have to park nose-in.
