I saw some of you guys talking about it a year ago. It's really helpful talking to friends of mine who are serving overseas. For VOIP, it sounds good and is easy to use. Bein' free ain't bad either.

Anyway, talked to a guy I know in Instanbul (or is it Constantinople? ;)) and another in Chang Mai. Found other friends in Baku and Makhachkala as well. Very cool

Yahoo voice works for me. plus i have a US number that my family can call for free (dependent on long distance plan). Cost $29.90 a year.

I've been using SkypeOut all year. It works great when I don't want to waste my cell minutes on a concall or something. I've never had a problem with it, but I've never used SkypeIn.

A friend of mine bought it for his Mom so she could call Taiwan. It is much cheaper than standard phone rates.
