1 Vodka martini
1 Scotch & water
Schmoozing with my colleagues
1 more Vodka martini
3 glasses of wine
Very nice piece of grilled redfish with a good shrimp sauce and some funky-good grits
chocolatey chocolate something & coffee
entertainment by the office noobs on the theme of the 12 Days of the Staff Attorneys' Office (B+ on the entertainment)

Then I walked-floated-stumbled 9 blocks back to the office to post this nonsense.

But anyway....
MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL Y'ALL !!!

We had snack day today. I tried valiantly to hover near the veggie plate so I wouldn't eat the bad stuff. Considering all the temptation, I think I did pretty well.

All we got was some roast beef that was still mooing.

People were saying how juicy it was. I was too busy wondering if the "juice" was O- or B+.

we had a whole turkey, whole spiral ham, cheese tray, relish tray, crackers and the biggest basket of fruit i've ever seen, compliments of some vendor that sells stuff to my company

then someone brought cupcakes and a giant chocolate bar and some chocolate covered pecan things...

i stayed away from the break room today.

Generally, when I start drinking early, I've found the most prudent course is to carry-on with the drinking until bedtime.

Just saying.

One of the advantages of working for a very small company (5 of us total) is that the boss usually takes us somewhere nice for our Christmas dinner.

Our Christmas Party is Dec. 22nd. I'll be somewhere over the Pacific for it. (Possibly soundly sleeping after boozing it up in the Singapore airlines lounge)
