Dad asked my sister if he should get Mom a Bose Waveradio. My sister slammed into him that Mom didn't need a Bose and he was only thinking about it because he wanted one...He sheepishly smiled and kinda agreed. Way to go sis!!!

I bought mine an OU carry on bag for the Fiesta Bowl trip, some perfume, a battery operated light for her closet and a Canasta game.

Makeup or perfume always works well... I often make my mother earrings, because I'm all artsy like that.

I bought my mom exactly what she asked for: The new Korn cd. :D

She also gave me a list of cds she wanted me to download for her.

My mom asked for a new griddle and some Atomic Fireballs. I got both. I bought the fireballs at Sam's... big canister-type thing full of them. I hope that's enough! :)

We were at a craft/art fair kinda thing this summer when my mom saw this handmade decorative wood bowl she really liked, but decided that she had spent enough money for one day so she didn't buy it.

I came up with some excuse to get separated from my wife/parents headed back bought the bowl and stashed it.

I don't mean to be a downer, but this thread makes me a little bit sad. Mom passed away several years ago, and I still miss her, especially at this time of year.

Whether you get mom a bauble or a Bentley, give her an extra hug this year and let her know you appreciate her. Moms are special, and you only get one of them in your life.

Got Mom the entire MASH DVD collection (Martinis and Medicine). 11 seasons plus the movie. It was tough to find, every place was sold out (so bite one, MASH-haters :) )
