Anyone seen it yet? I see it's rated PG, could a kid see it without too many problems?

My 12 yo daughter went to see it today on a field trip from school and said she liked it, if that helps at all.

I liked the book so I'll probably go see it over the break. Eldest is supposed to be delivered here at the house this week. :D

Man.... That's a bummer. I was thinking that might be a cool one to see. The lack of reviews on the previews had me worried. Some of these reviews were pretty funny.

"For those who love the fantasy genre known as sword and sorcery -- and I count myself in their number -- sitting through the movie version of Eragon will suck the will to live right out of you."

""Eragon" is based on a book by a 19-year-old with a script that seems to have been written by a 12-year-old."

"If you took all the dragon-centered movies ever made, and counted the good ones on your fingers, I bet you'd still have enough fingers left over to flip off Eragon as you walked laughing from the theater."

I took my 9 year old to see it. We both liked it. The effects were great. No nudity, or cussing. There were scenes of heavy sword/stone/stick type fighting.

Overall, I thought it was a good movie.

Now my son wants the Eragon PS2 game....Geesh!
