Or does anybody know what the term "Splayed" means? I'm trying to find some legs for an as-is table I bought at Mattress Brothers here in Tulsa. The table didn't come with legs and I want to try to get some before Christmas.

I remember why I had such a hard time posting advice questions on here. I have to sift through the mountains of crap before I find anyone willing to post helpful information.

Thanks idiots (and helpful people, in advance) :)

Splayed just means tilted outwards instead of vertical. Like so:

Look up "furniture repairing" in the yellow pages.

There's a million and 1 ways to design a leg. Somebody with smarts will put something on it that will be consistent with the style of the top.

Thanks. I saw "splayed" on tablelegs.com but had no clue what it meant. I'm concerned because the cut on the table doesn't exactly allow a square fitting. It needs some sort of cutting through the middle of it.

Thanks again.

A real man would go kick some pirates asses and steal their legs.

I think that was a legitimate question.....why would you buy a table with no legs?

This place never ceases to crack me up!

I've got a buddy in T-town that makes pool cues. Between the lathe and pentagraph machines I'm sure he could whip you up some real zingers but they may be a bit pricey.

he's cheap and trying to save a few bucks

knowing him, he'll only want to buy 3 legs for the thing anyway ;)
