my wife had a guinea pig named Mr. Piggy that I bought her for her 19th birthday. he was about to turn eight and he had very brittle pads on his paws due to his age, and we made many emergency trips to Neel from across town because they are a 24 hour vet. Over the last 6 months, we had to make the trip once a week to get his bandage changed, and they were always friendly, and the price was cheap.
Anyway, we had to have him put down Wednesday night, and my wife took it very hard, but the staff at Neel were great. In the mail today, we got a condolences card and a certificate with his name and inked footprints and some sort of nice saying.
So, if anyone is looking for a vet, I would highly recommend Neel. Everyone we dealt with was great and they are open 24/7.
