As a former Sallisaw resident: I recommend Catfish Hole and Wildhorse Mountain. Dana's is good for breakfast, as is Ole South. Taco Ranch is locally popular, but I do not like it. Ft. Smith has a number of good places, including Emmy's German, Bella Italia, Catfish Cove, and the Hamburger Barn.
