correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't oil soap supposed to protect natural wood floors??? not that lame pergo crap, but real wood???

i'm just wondering why management (in their infinite wisdom) thinks that murphy's oil soap is BAD for wood surfaces. and given that it's now winter here in the northern hemisphere, i would think that it would help prevent the wood from getting dry and buckling. call me crazy.

Too many times consumers are led to believe Murphy's oil soap and wet swiffers can be used on hardwood floors. Having seen the effects both can have on prefinished and site finished floors we recommend you stay away completely . Unfortunately wet swiffers can cause damage to wood floors as we've learned through the many inspectors we know. Murphy's on the other hand, will leave a residue build up and dull any hardwood floor surface appearance.

Beats me. Could you rephrase your question in the form of a google search?

i gotta agree. i mopped the floors today. wait, i'm a golf professional. WTF!!!!!!

anyway, i was tired of sticking to the floor because the people that are suppose to do it are too f-ing lazy. i digress...

anyway, it looks 1000% better. and it'll probably get done again tomorrow.

I do know that it it good for wood that has no veneer nor wax on it. Other than that, I'm a dumass. My Mother said, "use this..."....good enough for me.
yes. that's what we have here. that pergo stuff has (is) verneer and has some treated stuff on it. murphy's won't work on that.

I want that wax stripped off there, then I want them creamed and buffed with a fine chamois, and I want them now. Chop chop.
