My wife and I just returned from Mercy Hospital in OKC,where we got the results of a level 2 ultrasound. The score is now boys 2,girls 0.We had our first son Ryan James in Febuary '04 and now our second son Jason Charles is due May 11.My poor wife is more than a little sad as this was her only chance to have a girl.I will be 47 when JC is born and my wife 39,given her age both pregnancies are by definition high risk and Ryan was an emergency c-section,so JC is the end for us.The plus side is that the level 2 ultrasound shows everything is A-OK.I greatly appreciate the support that Sooner Fan members gave with Ryan and now with Jason.Sincere thanks from Jeff,Doris,Ryan, and Jason.

Does Doris secretly wish she was named Natasha? ;)

Seriously, congrats to you and your family. Oh, and Ryan is a fine Irish name.

'Fied,
There is a miracle awaiting you...it's called "Adoption". There's a little girl out there somewhere, a little girl for whom YOU are HER miracle.
Make it happen, and God will bless you many times over for giving the gift of a secure and loving home, complete with two big brothers to watch over her.

Just sayin'...

CONGRATS! I am expecting my first. I have said mine was a boy since I saw him in a dream even before the wifey told me she was pregnant. That is how I know even though we don't get official word until next month. I come from four brothers. So, that is what I am hoping for as well. anyhow, make sure you raise him a good Sooner, everything else is gravy after that I am sure ;)

I am so very happy for your family. A healthy baby boy! :D

My two nephews are the same difference apart in ages. They are the best of friends, a real blessing to one another, and to their beautiful little sister who my brother and his wife adopted a few years ago. ;)
