Not your typical home but it'll do for now. Work will pay me $75 per day on site if I buy one and I didn't think it was a financially smart to continue paying $650/month in rent to sleep in my duplex 5 nights per month.

I'm going to find a trailer park or camp ground or an RV spot behind the Best Western in Chickasha to park it when I'm inbetween jobs. Dean, you have some extra room at your place don't you?

This baby is dolomite pimp. 32' long, 3 slide outs. Headed to Purcell in the AM to get my truck equipped to haul it around.

Anyone know where to purchase pink flamingos?

they provide 4 spots for 5th wheels on site(if we're lucky). If that's what you were asking. If not, the company I work for pays for our hotels if we don't have a trailer. We can't work in the TX panhandle unless we have a trailer. Maybe I shouldn't have bought one. ;)

I'm thinkin' of gettin' one of those. We also get a daily reimbursement but I'm still not sure I want to take on the expense. If I get a trailer I'll have to get a newer truck. I'm not too sure I want to take on another $50K of debt.

I'd rather have the $700-$900 it takes up front to get one of those. If my cingular air card won't work I can always borrow one of the directional drillers or company man's wireless signals that's connected to their Direcway. Those folks make crazy money and can afford satellite internets.

backstory

I lived in a 1985 model 5th wheel trailer for 3 years while a student/enrolled at OU(the ladies loved it:mad: ). No slides, just living in basically a hallway. My mom gave me this concrete chicken for Christmas to make fun of me. I proudly displayed it outside of my door. When my Nat'l Guard Unit got activated my friend David's mom adopted it and to this day it resides in her kitchen with a yellow ribbon around it's neck. I don't think I'm ever getting it back.

I also noticed one day that the Kappas were throwing away their old trophies so I got them out of their dumpster. About 300 trophies in all. I had a grand scheme of reselling them to Midwest Trophy and making some walking around money. Not one trophy place wanted them. I threw the rest away and kept a sweet 6 foot tall trophy and crowned myself the Trailer Park Champion.

If your ever around Lehigh, there is an RV park off of highway 3. You can stay there for 7 bucks a night with full hook ups. Then ask for Pittsburgh Nelly. She can do things with her one good arm that make your forget about the thing on her neck.
