The lone Sooner on the list. Still seems weird to not see AD's name on there somewhere.

ESPN is stupid. How the heck is Rufus a 3rd teamer???? A possible 1st rounder is a 3rd teamer. That is a freakin joke.

1. This isn't ESPN; it's the AP

2. This is a college award, not a NFL draft award. Otherwise AD would've still had a shot at the Heisman.

Whoever thought such a short thought could be so wrong.

Ticks me off that Garrett Hartley with a 94.4% field goal percentage (only miss was the blocked kick at Oregan) wasn't even on the list, but the Colorado kicker made 3rd team with a 68% field goal percentage.

Crosby can hit 95 yard field goals worth 8 points a piece. Can Hartley do that? Didnt think so

3rd team for Rufus is nothing to be upset about. Remember OUr defense did not get off to a great start and Rufus was a big part of that. How many times did we hear early in the season when he wasn't playing particularly well: what's up with Rufus?

I have to respectfully disagree that this is a disappointment, although he was conf. player of the year and AP 3rd team, he also got first team coaches All-American team, plus this year is pretty much a crap-shoot at Lb, there are a ton of really good ones. Posluszny, Luaranitis, Willis(I think he is overrated though), Harris from michigan, etc...
