My Wife bought me a really nice Orange Bowl polo type golf shirt when we got killed by suc....
I got a long sleeve t-shirt after the Rose and nothing for the Holiday Bowl.
I should be safe as long as we stay away from Dillards I think.

I forgot to mention the Orange Bowl shirt was burned I guess...
As soon as the game was over I borrowed a shirt from my brother and the OB shirt was gone forever...

No need to panic here, folks. This is a simple task: all you must do is reverse the mojo and ward off all evil joss.
(1.) Simply purchase (Shanghai, steal, entrap, whatever) a fluffy orange cat. MUST BE ORANGE!
(2.) Dress (or at least bundle) the cat in the offending shirt. Feed it to a python large enough to eat it quickly.
(3.) Immediately burn the snake in a suitably large enough fire, while dancing naked around the fire.
(4.) Prepare a LARGE adult beverage (Wild Turkey and Jack Daniel's seem to work best, but clear spirits will work IF you have enough) and drink this from a lucky (or at least NOT un-lucky) OU cup/mug/glass/cooler/trashcan while (5.) soaking your feet in zebra blood and
(6.) watching a replay of the 1985 Orange Bowl.
That should pretty much do it.
I forgot to mention:
Avoid gin. Gin seems to have minimal affect on mojo at best.
Go easy on the mescal. A trashcan or two of mescal can cause the spirt of DKRoyal to appear and pull the burning snake from the fire and put it in the neighbors shrubs. He can also damage your tape of the '85 OB!!

I have it labled the '85 OB as it followed the '85 season. It was actually played in Jan 86.

first of all, the game in 2004/05 never actually happened. i though we had established that.
second, 2003 was an odd numbered year. you're safe by default.
third, my GF bought me a hella sweet sweatshirt last year before the holiday bowl and we won. so, we're safe.

Yes, I know you want to wear some karp that says what bowl game we're headed to. The hats are very nice and the football team sported them after defeating Nebbish. That has to be a good sign
