I've got a coworker that is an Indian (dot, not a kimo) and he's still mastering
the art of cursing in english.

He let out a "DAMN GODDIT!" today. I thought I was going to keel over laughing.

Someone I know who shall remain nameless, after saying something that this person thought was particularly clever said, "See, I'm sharp as a tick."

i used to work with a filipino guy that always said "water over the bridge" and "i'm at my end's wit".

I know people born and raised in THIS country who say things I find hee-larious too. For example, "I could care less!" and my personal favorite malapropism: "irregardless."

As we all know, the speaker meant to say "I could NOT care less." Regarding the word, it's either "irrespective" or plain old "regardlass," NOT a kluge of the two.

In HS, I was friends with an exchange student from Japan. She would say that she had two pieces of toasted for breakfast.

My son used to say he wanted to go boat-laking.
