This thread reminds me of a true story...


back after the 1994 season when Miami was looking for a new HC, a guy I played baseball with sent his resume to the AD there. Topping his list of qualifications he listed "3rd Team All-City, Madison, Wisconsin".

anyway, last I heard, he still got some free stuff from them every year....and He's probably already turned down 'Bama.

Got my call! The first offer was $1.5 million and I had to get a sex change. Advised them to negotiate with my lawyer.

Happy to report that the offer us now up to $3 million (with a provision that we not sue for sexual discrimination in hiring) and I get to keep my boobs. ROLL TIDE! :D

I turned down 'Bama last week for the headcoaching job at HOOTERS.It doesn't pay much but there are lots of French benefits.That Steely Dan is a nice guy.

They only offered me $75,000 and told me bowl eligibility was not an option at a school where National Championships are expected at least once every five years. What Bullsh*t!!!! :mad:

when I get the call, I'm taking the job...whatever they offer me is far greater then my poor college student income of $0 dollars, so with what they will pay me I can afford to take my last year and a half off of school. Who knows I could get lucky, win the SEC and never have to go back to school...which I will of course to get my sooner diploma...though I will get degrees from Bama, one how to be a lucky bastard, and another in winning a national championship with a losing record.

Not to worry. The list is not in alphabetical order. You should get your call by Thursday of next week.

I think they are up to 5 mil across the board now.

got my call, a couple hours ago, became the new coach at bama, but an hour later I got caught at a strip joint, and well, Im no longer the coach at bama, too bad UTEP already has a coach in place...

You'd have to be lucky, not even Jesus can win in the SEC!!! :eek:
