You're damn right you'd love to see them live. It was better than I expected.

The only downside: there were lots of burley, bearded dudes. I was initially afraid that I had walked into a bear convention. Perhaps not surprisingly, yermom was there.

I thought I saw yermom, but was too afraid to approach.

Also, why not just post in my thread.

Also, I was halfway expecting Dr Dog to be some sort of jam band and turned out to be pleasently surprised. I'll be buying some of their CD's. It's always a nice surprise when the opening band isn't ****.

I guess because it stunk so bad that it had dropped to page two before I logged on this morning? :P

Mabe you should be asking that question of the entire SO... :D

And I KNEW it was yermom and was still a little afraid to approach him.

I should have known for sure that it was Yermom. He was wearing a subaru shirt and had a takeout bag from Ted's

I got offered a free ticket last night, but I had to decline.

Sucks, I would have loved to see them in a bigger venue. They were great last time at the Green Door. How was the attendance?

BigRedJed

Not great. A couple hundred? 250? Maybe?

And everytime I go to a kickass rock show, I look around for Rhino and Lil. I never see them anymore. Your street cred is slipping fast with me, I'll have you know...

That sucks. The Ballroom sucks for shows too.

We haven't been to many shows lately, with the new house and trying to sell our old ones and all. Gotta save some cash.

We were at the Lips, at the YYYs in Tulsa and were two of the 20 people at the Fiona show.

Save some cash? If those people knew what was good for them they'd comp you into every show.

Now that we live in N-town I keep thinking Rhino would start making it down to campus corner for some good music.

Maybe after the wedding he'll get back to his old ways, you think he would get sick of spending time with me.

So blame his not attending way cool shows on me.
