2007 OU Football Wall Calendar

I saw one at Barnes & Noble tonight.

To the best of my recollection, here are the 12 pictures they used:

1) Eric Bassey's fumble return for a TD against Bama in 2002 (the cover pic)
2) Russell Dennison maybe making a tackle
3) Russell Dennison, this time looking at something
4) Long snapper Jacob Rice (right?) looking for someone to block on what appears to be a PAT attempt
5) Donte Nicholson (I'm pretty sure) making a tackle
6) Lance Mitchell doing something that I've forgotten
7) Vince Carter looking for someone to block on a pass play
8) Stoops calling a timeout
9) The Sooner Schooner out on the field

Well, I guess that's all I remember. I think there might've been another one of an o-lineman.

Why don't they ever use picture of former stars?

I think there is a rule that they can't use current players, so that explains why there are no current stars. But former ones? Dunno. I mean, all those guys are good...but not superstars. I was just more surprised that they went all the way back to 2002 for the pics. You'd think they could find something usable that's more recent.

And, ya know, good. I've got nothing against Vince Carter or the way he looks for someone to block, but it's not really a picture worth looking at for a month.

Maybe the company who put this calender out cannot afford to pay the former stars they kinda money former stars would want?
